Taking Steps Back a Conversation about going back to your ex
Going Back To an Ended Relationship
Kollekted_Thoughts: you say you do not believe in goin back but you have done it a few times,whats makes you come back?
Patiently_Devoted: well last semester i know why we took a break & it was just personal reasons of things i was going through added with paranoia ... the first time we broke up though i think it was the best thing for us cause when you're not used to adversity in your relationship and you go through it, how we handled it i think says a lot about us as people and how we feel about each other. with [Bobby] there was never a doubt in my mind that i wanted to end up with him at the end of the day, married with kids. but i needed to kinda put things in perspective & so i'd say i came back the second time, things were kinda put in perspective with my disease and how bad i got, it was like how can i be so selfish needing time for myself to get my life together when life's so short to begin with. how could i not be with someone who loves me so much and treats me so good and just cares so much for me. i felt selfish and immature not being with him, cause i was being really self-centered. i think the best thing you can do is love someone, whole-heartedly. and people don't understand relationships are about compromise.. so until you're willing to start seeing the we instead of the me, you're not going to last. i mean people i guess fall out of love. but that's on you to keep the love live

That What If Person In Your Life
As I listen to my slow jam playlist their is a certain song that came on that inspired this piece its called What If by Baby Face. The what if person in your life. I feel like everyone has that one person that they used to talk to and even though you have moved on and become happy in your life you still wonder what if we were together would things be different. You might wonder why you feel this way out of no where or why the feeling is lingering and I would have to say that from past experiences that there is a reason why that person is the what if and not the person you are with.

Things Boys Do
OK I went in on females a little in my last piece but they are not the only problem in the matter. We have a lot of boys still in college portraying men that prey on the weak minded. They see that all an honest woman wants is someone to care for her and women get so into a dude before even knowing them that they're willing to do anything for them and ladies we see it. So they take that and run with it. These boys are immature so you should not be surprised by some of the outrageous things they say and ladies you have to be able to identify game from sincere feelings if someone talking bout wifing you but only invites you over at 3 am thats not sincere. These boys are a trip they tell women the world lie to them and keep as many of these unsuspecting women on the outside as they can and when you get too close they cut you off. Adding to the list of women scorned and it is so corny for them to do that but I hate to say it, if you allow them to do it then it will only continue. I feel like most women never realize they have the power in all relationships smh lol I guess I should be happy they do not know that, could you imagine if all women legs shut for a month how much men would suffer. Back on topic though what i really want to say to the women out there hurting do not mistake a boy for real man because we would never play with your feelings like that. Being a man is a state of mind not an age so there are 21yr old boys out there so do not just rely on age and thats... JuzHowIFeel
Decisions Women Make
Living at school is like studying the female species all in itself and I feel like I finally figured out why things do not work out for most women here. I feel that as a woman you have to look to yourself first for the blame. Now here me out it might not always be your fault but in a general sense i feel that yes it is most women fault especially the ones who are the most miserable. Step back and think why are you into the man that you are seeking and if the reason is purely aesthetic then your on the wrong track already, because you'll probably pass up on a bunch of good men that would probably do you right but he isn't "your type" but the man who continually hurts you is? So what do women do? They get angry and bitter because of a man they wanted hurt them. So they go out and end up dating the same type of guy over and over again until they hate men. Now you have a woman that dislikes all men off of her bad decisions. ladies try something new do not go after the same type of man because if you do and you continue to be hurt I think you should be responsible enough to at least take responsibility for your actions that you are clearly a bad decision maker when it comes to judgement of character, or you can state the obvious YOU ARE JUST SHALLOW and if thats what it is just sit back and take your agony because you know what you want and thats... Diary of a Tired Black Man
Let me state this right from the beginning i love my black women and all women for that matter but this is a great movie that i watched and I feel any woman putting up with those terrible dudes in their life should check this out. You are not the only ones with bad partners and I feel like this shows you that after enough sometimes you really have to let go, but this movie gets so much deeper though in looking into the psyche of a black woman and why she acts the way she does towards her good husband and why we have angry black women

Fraternity and Sorority "loves"
There has been something on my mind and with me being a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. I see a lot of things that I really wish did not happen. I'll start with the obvious in Indy Love which is very special to me and it bothers me to see the new generation of members in each org tear it apart. If we go back to the roots of it members would not take a rho under their wing just to have sex or take a nupe under your wing for sexual advances. It was done out of the love and wanting to protect the struggling black women by struggling black men. I feel that when you "spec" someone for the wrong reason it will show and if you sleep with that person and the relationship goes sour do not blame the org for what you have done wrong because your breaking down a bond thats so much bigger than yourself. With some of our earliest members protecting the women of Sigma Gamma Rho from the KKK now thats true Indy Love but now a days when someone hugs another person he is not showing Indy Love come on now it has nothing to do with that. This can be applied to almost all greek loves whether it be Coleman, Dove, Phirst Pham, etc If we can get back to our roots our bonds would only be that much stronger so to all members who read this just think what is the bond really about and make a decision with the big head not the little one and thats...
